GamerScore Blog North American Road Tour ‘07 DALLAS

So the guy’s from Gamerscore Blog came to the DFdub and sent me an invite thanks to SquidPunch from 360FriendSpot.com he told me about it so I had to go. While I was there I met DeaconBlade 360 from Unscripted360.com. Those guys where great! Lots of fun on Guitar Hero 2 lol everyone was getting in on the action. Everyone was also going crazy on Track & Field. Well ill make a short review of the games that i can talk about.

Track & Field- Nice old school game with the similar feel from back in the day. You move the left thumb stick to move or use the b button. Great party game! Doesnt show any interest single player. Everyone at the event was loving the excitement while playing players and spectators!

Forza 2- Nice racing sim feels nice and everything. Im looking more into DiRT tho.

Shadowrun- This is the game everyones talking about! The beta let everyone down but the final product brought up everyones hopes. Has a Counter Strike feel in the way of purchasing weapons abilities at the beginning and 8v8 battles mainly multiplayer tho. DeaconBlade 360s lil bro had this game down!

Guitar Hero 2- You all know I dont need to say anything… or do I Deacon? lol

Chips & Salsa- Not a game as much as an appetizer everyone will agree that they were good lol!

The Glory of Crackdown

For those who have Crackdown and dont want to loose your games saves follow these instructions to keep you safe straight from the Crackdown site.

I got the original 900 gamerscore on Crackdown thanks to Major Flankage, Skyless Day, Bajan Elite, and my new friend Disbron. Me and Disbron also helped eachother with the new expansion achievements we got the 3 flips beat game on phycotic(believe it or not but the last shai gen boss killed himself lol) and imponded all the cars and got the harpoon. Now all i need is the races which will take a while since i have not yet bought the expansion.

In other news i rented TMNT and Xmen the movie game i got 100% on TMNT but on xmen i can not beat it with ice man LAME. I have 100% to the point that im at but can not go any further tips anyone? And you get no ahievements till you beat the game because the achievements are collect all this type of file and collect all of another file and get all mutations to highest level. So i have to re-rent it after my school gets out for summer in about 2 weeks and after the halo 3 beta is out because i wanna play that with all my friends over at 360gl.com and 360voice.com. I dont want my percentage to drop.

Oh yeah gets i hit 10k gamerscore yay!! right now it is at 10,605 gs. im ganna go back and finish Ninety-Nine Nights for my last 200 points and someother games wish me luck!

Crackdown DLC

Actual details on the Crackdown downloadable content has been released from TeamXbox.

As for my gaming im still working on Crackdown and I am 5 rings away from getting my last achievement. And I was wrong about the 6 people voice chat I had an rss feed that said that so sorry guys…

I will update later one people so chill out. Oh yeah and i emailed Xbox support about the messenger and they said nothing at all… I wrote saying this:

The new messaging on the 360 is unavailable to users under 18 and I am wondering why? I am 16 and I was looking forward to this feature and buying the new controller keyboard attachment. Now that I know I cannot use the feature there is no point to buy it. I looked under family settings and there is nothing. Why can we not talk to our friends using messenger on xbox that we already know but there is an option to block video and text chat? Will there be a new option for this so that the younger users may use it? Any answers would be great!

I deeply apologize for the inconvenience and as I understand, you are having problems about how to change your gamertag from a child acount to a normal account.
We apologize. We are aware of the issue and we will have more information at a later time.

Dashboard Disappointment

I downloaded the update today and it look good. No 6 people voice chat liek it said in my rss feed but we get 6 people messenger thats nice. Too bad I cant use the messenger since im not 18 and there is no parental functions to enable it either so all that I was hoping and waiting for is nothing now. All my friends lets email Xbox support and ask for a parental option to let underage users to be able to use the messenger. That also takes away from their sales from the new keyboard accessory that I wanted to buy.

Dashboard Update… still coming

Sprong News just released this article about the update. Major Nelson also says in his blog that there will be or is two videos explaining the update. We should know a definite date by the end of the day! 6 people chat here I come!! Check back through out the day for updates. I am getting pretty into this guys.

XBLA is getting Double Dragon this week! Good classic addition to the XBLA library. So… since we got Double Dragons in on Xbox… What about Battle Toads? Only time will tell.

The Month of May

May is a big month for Xbox 360 users. We are getting a major dashboard update, 4 new Gears of War multiplayer maps, Halo 3 beta, Crackdown DLC screenshot, and more! I have missed a couple of days due to… laziness. So I am going to make this count. New info on Devil May Cry 4, Crackdown, and more… I will be updating this post through out the day so check back as info is added. Here we go!

Real Time Worlds has released a screenshot of the Crackdown DLC that we have all been waiting for since the release. Team Xbox got the scoop on it. It shows 4 dune buggies on the beach. What does this mean? Four player Co-Op? maybe. They saw it will bring new vehicles and a new game type. I do not know what to expect. No word on the achievements.

Devil May Cry has a new face! And it will not only be seen by PlayStation enthusiest. The loved Donte has been replaced by Nero in Devil May Cry 3! The gameplay is still the same just improved. We are told that we won’t be disappointed. Team Xbox has the screenshots.

Gears of War Training Day… and more to come!

Well im guessing you all know I play Gears of War almost everyday. When I found out the new map pack was coming out I know it was a must have! As most of you that I game with regularly, I live in Texas and I am in high school. The school I goto starts at 7:30 am every morning and I get up at 5 am(exhasting). As soon as I got up is started downloading the map pack so I could have it definitly by the time I got home and I did! When I got on later that day I was talking to my friends and they said they bought the maps but they couldnt download them… bummer I like playing with my friends. So I resorted to playing random player matches. The maps are very nice. I played the bridge one first and then the green house one and the process one. All nice! lol I forgot what the other one was opps! After I played the bridge one again I found out you can go to the side of the bridge and go straight for torque bow and I guess the other teams I played never figured this out so I kept getting carzy kills. When my friends m4rk0551, Stealthy Wizard, and Big Z 009 got on I played single games with all of them. Stealthy helped me a little on my much needed weapon skills(everyone that has played with me know im better then average but have no skill with anything but the shotty). If anyone wants to help me on my snipe, torque… boom… hammer.. skills please let me know I need practice bad. I am ashamed the I am good but can not use any other weapons.

At the end of almost everyday I try to get on UNO. It’s a nice way to relax after a good day of killing on Gears and have nice conversations with people. So if anyone wanted to join me nightly just drop by or message me.

The Rundown on Crackdown

As my first post I would like to detail what I intend to put up here daily. The plan I have for this blog is to post what I did and who i played with and making their gamertags into catagories so that they and you can see when and what i played with them. Also I will refer to everyone using their gamertags.

Me and m4rk0551 showed Xbox Live what team work was all about in Gears of War… with friendly fire on haha. He also helped me with a little boom and sniper training that I really need. I admit right now that I suck with every weapon but shotgun. Dont hate on me even tho I use the shotgun you can ask anyone I have played with I can definitly hold my ground.

So today I was aiming for the Ring Leader achievement along with help from Skyless Day. They are quite challenging but it is the last achievement I need for Crackdown. That means 100%!! til the expansion!! Right now it is storming rather bad here in Texas so I put the games down for a little while just incase.

 360gl.com got a new feature today: The New Hottness. It is a member of the month kind of thing that I am hoping to receive soon. Right now it is Mrs Achievement and she really earned it for all the help and information she supplies to the 360gl community.
